Comments:

My favourite contest!  Arrived at QTH 1 week before to drop all 6 masts and
replace all galvanised fittings and bent poles.  Took a lot longer than
erecting a pristine new array when operating /P some years before.  Only just
finished before the start of contest despite having fantastic wx - no wind or
rain - almost unheard of here for more than 1 week....  
Condx. on 1st night poor/average with highish absorbtion due to geo-storm
previous day.  Good to hear the regulars and some new calls, but only 41 mult
with prop marginal to CO and CA.  Condx. better on 2nd night but nowhere near
as good as 2009 and 2010.  Got 11 more mults inc. WA, OR, ID, MT, VE4 and 5 and
more CA.  Did not hear WY, NV, or UT though.  Missed ND and OK.  On 3rd night
propn. seemed improved.  Thanks for all the qso's and esp. to those who
suffered with "Sandy" , etc. but who managed to get going again.
