Comments:

SS is not my favorite contest (and certainly not the SSB version), but I was
feeling guilty of letting down the club after family travel prevented
participation in CW.  So I determined to at least put in enough hours for a
creditable score, and, of course, once into it got motivated to work a sweep as
well. And it is always pleasant to see so many regulars in the contest and
exchange greetings and even occasional pleasantries. It was also very
interesting to encounter a large number of hams with very recent CK numbers,
which seems to bode well for the future of contesting.
