Comments:

Put up a new multi-band sloping dipole in a tree on Saturday. Began operating on
Sunday morning. At daybreak, went out in balmy 30 deg weather and moved sloper
from SE to due south. Last two sections were UT and ONN. Was making a few
insurance contacts when lost power at about 2200Z. Generator kicked in, decided
not to restart everything. Power still out at 04Z. 

All search-and-pounce, of course. 

High band condx were fantastic! Too bad they were wasted on a phone contest.
The entire country was coming in here, loud, on 20 and 15 Meters. Worked five
KL7s. A young, serious phone operator could have made a pretty nice score from
my modest station.
