Comments:

There are always a few goals you can set on a contest weekend, keeping in mind
the number one goal to have fun. This past weekend proved to be a good one for
me in achieving those fun goals. Some my highlights included:
 - A sweep at noon on Sunday. Being the last 6 worked in the numbers round
VO1KVT was conducting, I would really enjoy listening to my operation and
attempted contacts prior to, and including that last call, needed to sweep. I
am sure it sounded quite ridicules… fun! Thanks to VO1KVT for a valiant
effort.
- The spotting. This is my first time really running advanced and using
spotting processes. Makes the knob turning, rapid eye movement, and general
confusion a more enjoyable event for my ADD tendencies, and a little less for
the Dyslex ones.
- Clearing the 500Q hurdle. That happened around 5pm Sunday. It was nice to
take a break. It truly showed me the light about running vs. S&P, but with
LP I was repeatedly pushed off frequencies I had been on for 20-30 min. As some
would say I could fix this problem…, “More power to you”.
Another fun weekend in November.
