Comments:

For the first time ever, I just quit in the middle of a contest. Sure I had only
put in 13 hours, but it was no longer any fun. Like another station who had to
endure over an hour of foul language and deliberate qrm from the"pig
farmers", I had to listen to a station follow me around on 40m throwing
pulses on the freqency. While we both survived, I just said to myself,
"why bother? Life is too short for this garbage." The state of phone
contesting has deteriorated to such a extent, that extending oneself no longer
has meaning. Sure, I could easily have ended with a score in the top ten. So
what!
