I could not operate the first night and so decided to go for single band 15m.
Condx were superb the first day with very solid signals from Asia and a
moderately long lasting NA opening in the evening. On Sunday JA closed earlier
and the western US stations had lots of echo and fading at my QTH. I was losing
ground to DR1A and OL3Z whenever I checked the live scoreboard. TNX to DL5RMH
for getting me into this, I like it!

When the band faded I realized that I needed just 9 DX QSOs to close up to
OL3Z. So I hung in there for two more hours and was rewarded with another short
NA opening, good for about 30 QSOs. This sure was the icing on the cake of a
fun
weekend on 15m!

TNX to OL3Z and DL5RMH for the nice competition on the scoreboard. Both DL5RMH
and I passed DL1REM's 15m Assisted DL record from 2011 (708K).
