Comments:

Best conditions on 10 and to a lesser degree 15 in years maybe decades. Gave the
100-watt Flex 3000 a real workout on its first contest and very pleased. 10
opened at dawn, faded mid-afternoon only to roar back before dusk. All zones
were workable at different times with huge runs into JA. Couldn't work S. Korea
which was strong only due to massive continuous pileups. Same thing for VU. Now
thinking about a small amp...again... and this from a guy who ran QRP for the
last few years. Yeesh! Not that there weren't issues. The terminal program on
Writelog failed late Sunday afternoon (mysteriously works Monday am) and I've
got an SWR meter which will only show PEP readings when its light is on. How
weird is that? FlexKnob has a lagging issue when tuning which needs looking at.
Don't think it's a port or Firewire issue but the Flex 1500 using USB works
fine. More weirdness. Working on getting my CW up to speed to run in upcoming
tests. And finally thanks to the guy who, trying to be helpful, gave my call
and report. Sorry but I didn't log that one.
