Comments:

Had to fit this contest in between driving up the coast to the grandsons Sat
morning football game and then to the granddaughters Sat afternoon volleyball
tournament Sunday I had the need to get some yard work out of the way before
the rains come. The long drive between the games and necessary shopping while
out left little time or desire and I had to settle with the two evenings. Some
of the time in the 6 hours I entered as contest time were also spend helping
the XYL corral the 2 year old grandson we were babysitting.

10 Meters was in good shape and was interesting to run with less than 100W with
the FT-990. JA's were loud and prolific regardless of where the beam was
pointed. Ended up taking some time doing hunt and pounce. Had fun. Not sure
what effect the broken boom to mast support wire draped over one side of the
driven element had, but noticed higher than normal SWR's on the three bands.
