Comments:

Wow, that was fun! Congrats to the organizers for an exciting experience
despite average conditions and even some TX-size downpours Saturday night.
Here in central TX, 40 meters was the band to pick up multipliers as the
mobiles would graciously drop down from their usual feeding grounds on the
upper bands every now and then to throw crumbs to the local needy. Special
thanks to (QSOs): N5NA (32), K5CM (19), W5CT (17), N5DO (16), N5TM (15), K5YAA
(14), W0BH (11), K5JX (9), W3DYA (8), WC5D (8), NS5J (7), and NM5G (7). Missed
NO5W in his Louisiana exile. Tried 10 and 160 meters, but no customers. Found
it frustrating to compete with the super stations in a no-holds-barred CW
category. Think that participation levels would suggest separate categories
for LP and Unlimited. Surprisingly little participation from the West Coast.

Score includes 15,000 bonus points.

Rig: Omni V (90 W), wire dipoles, Aetherlog for Mac.

Chris, K5LH
