What difference a good antenna makes.  Last year I used an 80-6m OCF Windom and
only managed a 9K score.  Since then I put up an Inverted L with about 20 odd
radials and managed to work 84 multipliers & 684 Q's, including Hawaii !! 
Great contest & for the most part, great ops.
