Comments:

Thought I would spend some time on CW when band went dead here in N. AL but
scatter and Es not so gud. Not enough op's get that they can work stuff after
darkness. K1ZZ , N2NT , K1LZ had the most consistent after hour sigs hr.

Sat was a hoot but Sunday was a disappointment for me. Shorter EU opening then
band went long to the west. I mean very long as west coast sigs way down from
what they were on Sat. Had a goal of 2k Q's but that wasn't to be this year.
The endless dry CQ's finally caught up with me Sun afternoon and I bagged it
with 3 hrs left in the test. Guess I was already disappointed and working more
west coast puny weak sigs didn't appeal to me any more.........

I can recollect the 1st ARRL contest back in the mid 70's with no prop at all
when I was living in Washington state. All fwd scatter and local contacts. This
weekend was much much better all in all. Guess the Sunday prop here just showed
me I wasn't in the right place the 2nd day of this event.

The high's and low's of contesting in 48 hrs.....you have got to love it!
