Comments:

I had 'things' to do this weekend so I knew I had only Saturday to play. When I
turned on the radio early Saturday the band sounded funky - looked at my
IonProbe app and it showed an A Index of 24! GBot thing set up and headed off
to $tartBuck$ to see if at least the operator could be ready.

Made my first contact with W9ILY at 1534 hours and it was off to the races.
Stateside contacts were very productive except for a lot of 7's (too close in I
guess) plus NM.  DX was as about as sparse as can be with the band open - very
disappointed that the Big A was so dominant.

All in all 82.5 avg. rate for the 10 hours of op is just hunky Dorey for me!

I am sure that had I not gone to the local NFL event, I would have topped the
1,000 mark easily.
