Comments:

This year my goal was to hit 225K which I missed. Q's were down 4.5%, mults up
3.2% and score down 1.5% from last year. I operated assisted this year, but
while that may have helped with the mutls I don't think it really affects the
score appreciably as mults count only once and there are a limited number. This
contest is all about rate, which you loose when chasing spots. Just wait the
mults will call you.

It looks like I spent too much time hoping for a glorious openning on 10/15 and
missed what was there on 20/40. Like during SS it is easy to be seduced by the
strong signals from the west coast on the upper bands and spend more time there
to the detriment of the score.

I did spend (as it turns out) far too much time setting up a dual reciever
Rckskimmer and installing it at a non ham's house. While it worked for weeks
at my home, and for days at the remote site, it lasted for all of 6 minutes
during the contest. Thankfully there were several other new Rckskimmers
deployed so spots were never lacking. There is a tendancy for slight frequency
calibration issues and the propensity to spot callers rather than CQing
stations, so the system is not as mature (nor as old) as that provided by the
CW RBN. Things should continue to evolve and improve. Thanks to everyone who
provides this service.

I had one hardware issue that eliminated 10M for the third radio and had a
local ham ran high power this year and that pretty well fuzzed out my bandscope
when he was transmiting with his antenna this way. (I am taking him real estate
guides when I see him next).

Congratulations to Fabi VA2UP who looks to capture the LP category that has
been dominated for years by Don AA5AU. Both of them turn in rates I can only
marvel at.
