Comments:
Great fun! Thanks again to John Evans, N3HBX, for letting us join him at
"the farm." For the first several hours, we were unable to get much
going on phone and operated almost all CW. 10 was disappointing Saturday, with
only a couple of forays for multipliers.
40 was great in the evening. At 2:45AM, we went to 20SSB and had good rates
for almost three hours. We then went to 20CW and then 15SSB for an hour.
In the last 15 minutes, 10 was opening to Europe. We went to 10 meters for
19QSOs and 12 multipliers in the last 15 minutes and made a QUICK trip back to
15 for a couple of multipliers.
Rates on 40 and 20 were so good we didn't spend much time on 80 and never
thought it was worth going to 160. We should have probably tried 40SSB some,
but 20 was so good at 2:45AM and CW stayed good so we never got there.
