Comments:

I had taken the contest weekend off work with the idea of serious effort, but
between family activities and thunderstorms Saturday afternoon and Sunday
morning, I didn't get out to the portable site in the Flint Hills until Sunday
afternoon. The site is so quiet that I thought something was wrong with the
antenna. Didn't hear anything until W7GJ DN27 popped in 20 over S-9 in at 2210
utc. The antenna and radio were working fine, there just was not much
propagation on 6 while I was there. Only other Es contact was N2XQM FM27 at
2325 utc.
