Comments:
Part time effort. Too many WRTC related projects competing for attention.
However, conditions were so good that I kept coming back to the radio and not
getting my other work done. I love chasing all the strange prefixes.
15m conditions were excellent. Have never worked so many JAs over such a long
period of time. Even at 1am in the morning. Also worked more China stations
than ever before. Some of the loudest signals of the weekend were from
Southeast Asia.
There were some very poor quality signals on 15m. LZ9W should be disqualified
for their signal. It sounded fine on frequency, but you could also hear them up
and down the band. Signal was very unstable and FMing. This is the 3rd or 4th
year in a row they have had this problem on 15m. It needs to stop.
LY7A also had a strange sound with some crud on each side. Other very loud
Europeans had phase noise on each side of their signal. Perhaps too much
amplifier or poor tuning.
