Comments:

I surprised myself and made a sweep.  Last section was SC, searched all over and
finally found one late afternoon.  Only one ND worked and that was shakey.

40m was full of power line noise Sat night, then slowly started to mellow out.

Now have a "new-used" K3, very fun to use.
