Comments:

I ALMOST gave up on doing a serious effort on SS-SSB this year when I had to
dash out and buy a chain saw to clear some tree branches from the turning
radius of the TH6DXX but walked in finished with that task with 6 minutes left
before the contest so I got with it early on.

Went to bed earlier than I usually do (06z) with 650 in the log then a slow
start early Sunday a.m. until things really took off about 15z then it was a
foot race from there!

A personal best EVER single-op contest score for me! Knew I was running neck
and neck with N4PN in the last 1.5 hours before 03z. Hardest mults were QC and
SK this year but VE2TSM found me Sunday morning and I found the venerable VE5SF
finally a little after 18z Sunday to wrap up the sweep. Had several good runs on
40m and 20m a despite my wife putting one too many appliances into action
Saturday night blowing the breaker that the station and computer is, I managed
to keep things going! At least THIS year I didn't have a tower fall down in the
middle of a 180/hour run!!!!
