Comments:
Best CW score ever on CW!
this year I was in a better position to compete having
rebuild the feeding system of the twin slopper and
properly fed with a LMR-400 line.
The upper bands enabled courtesy of
a log periodic.
For the previous 2 weeks I was undecided which -Low power,
XE record would attempt to break:
a) SOAB Unassisted (circa 1994)
b) SOAB assisted (2013)
Minutes before start, I decided to go for the unassisted mode,
because the assisted one was too easy and not really a challenge.
Awesome conditions overall, the XE record was easily surpassed
my Sunday morning, and the 2 Megs score was reached 15 minutes before the
end of the contest...
Noticed some polar flutter on 20M in the last 2 Hours from
EU stations coming over the pole.
cqcontest.ru kept the motivation to pursue my goals!
Surprised by the performance of the Log periodic, busting
several pile-ups on 15M
