Comments:

Hi Guys:
The station been rebuilded with a new 50 foot tower and 2 news FTDX3000 from
Yaesu.
I'd been sick before the contest for 6 days including virus, sinus and
dengue,
terrible triple play isn't it.
Thanks God fever disappeared a day before the big show, but stayed all day
working at the shop and 3 hours before the contest I did install a new
Steppir
2 ele at 30 feet fixed to USA.
Normally planned to be a ALL Band SO2R but I realized the low band will be a
problem do to high SFI levels and also to weak to play it hard.

The first 3 contest hours was a blast running on rates over 200 Qso’s per
hour till the rates drop, stayed running on the band till first break of
1:00
hour . Goods multiplier called on the first night, ZK, Lord Howe
Is.FO,,ZL,China
. Due to a strange Software problem first 900 QSO almost gone but recovered
on
the first black out “Thanks God for it”.

First 12 hours passed the 1300 QSOs mark till the first blackout on Saturday
around 15:00 till 18:00 Utc them the band reopen again .
Completed a new DXCC on 14 mhzs only in 16 hours; The second night and
early
hours really did search and pounce using the lower antenna for the
Caribbean
and ZL, amazing with this small 57 inches boom antenna.

First experience contesting with the new FTDX3000 the little brother of the
FTDX5000 series and at the receiver side nothing to miss exactly the same
wish
to have this band scope on the FTDX5k, The receiver is really very quiet,
really is .
I loved his scope and did handle very very well all the interference and
over
modulations.
My 4 L really played great as great it is and nothing to complain.

The last 3 contest hours heavy electrical storms and some blast really close
to
me, I can felt the statics on the air before lightning hit the ground.
Almost 2
hours running below the 50 watts mark due to a power Outage during the storm
but
I did not give up my operation and played on a very risk situation.

Thanks God he covered me on this, also thanks to everyone called me and
logged
on this contest, pleased to work a lot of qrps in the contest also .

Thanks God was a great contest and ignoring the poor behavior of a very
poorest
spirit ham operator I am pleased with the results even not matter for me how
far
I can reach it.
Also thank you for the pile ups and the patient to pick up your signals in
the
crowded 20 meters band.

God bless you all and see you at the CW leg
