Comments:

I got back to Japan last night and set up the remote this morning. However, I
couldn't get either of the antenna relays to switch to the 80 and 160 antennas,
so I was confined to 20 and 40. Fortunately 20 condx were really good so I was
kept pretty busy.

The relays are Tohtsu and turned on and off with an Ambury internet switch.
When I bought the relays a couple of years back the US dealer was out of the
PL-239 models and I had to buy ones with BNC connectors and buy PL-239
adapters. The adapters don't really fit properly and I have never liked them.
WA6URY checked things out before I left the US and everything was working, but
over the last 24 hours the relays decided to stop working. It's really strange
that both of them would stop working at the same time. I may be without my 80
and 160 antennas while I am here.

I am also using a new laptop (what a job it is to set up a new computer) with
the latest version of Win-Test. This was the first time I've been able to try
out this new setup and the keying spacing seemed to be too long. I'll have to
figure out how to adjust that.

It's nice to be back on a schedule where I don't have to lose sleep to operate
the NS sessions. I should be able to operate most of them for the next month.

73, Hal W1NN
