Comments:

Never one to see the silver lining and based on 
the wx reports, I was prepared to be disappointed.
Couple hours before sunset, running up and down 
the band a few times, I could see QRN was 
going to be a serious problem. Even with the big
signals I often had to ask for a repeat.

Decided not to call any CQ's because 
I didn't want to be labeled "no ears".
After three or four hours it occurred to me
I could have more fun with Marlene.
