Well I screwed this one up. I forgot that the single op category is limited to
30 hours and not the standard 36 hours. As a result, I operated for 32 hours
and 32 minutes, and the extra time will be removed from the end of my log. If I
had remembered, I could have easily extended my dinner breaks by another 15 or
20 minutes and they would have qualified for off time.

All the scores and stats presented here reflect the first 30.0 hours of contest
operation.

Conditions were quite good and I worked pretty nicely into Europe on 10 and 15
including eastern Europe. European contacts were 27% of my total which is
quite good for my west coast QRP station, especially when almost half of my Qs
were USA and VE.

Best Qs:

40 Meters: I had my first European Qs ever on 40 RTTY, EE7H and ED1R. These
were my best Qs of the entire contest!

20, 15, and 10 provided a few nice ones:
20 Meters: V55V and ZS6WR.
15 Meters: RW0A in zone 18, ZR9C, and V55V
10 Meters: ZR9C, VR2XMT, 5W1SA, and SX3B in Greece.

DXCC was 67 and WAZ was 26. I did try CQing once on 10 meters and had about 6
stations come back before it seemed to dry up. CQing on RTTY is entirely
different from SSB or CW and I was quite nervous about trying it. But I
eventually got it figured out.

I think this is my favorite contest. The print on the screen tells you
immediately if the station is a dupe or a new multiplier. No need to type in
calls!! And no noise in the house like on SSB. I love it!

Can I do another full time contest this next weekend? I guess I'll find out.
See you in the ARRL CW!

73, Bill W8QZA / W6QU
