Comments:

A few hours of operation each night. I usually feel I'm TX/RX balanced - with
500 watts into my T antenna, I can hear about as far as I can be heard. On the
first night it seemed like I was hearing much further than I was being heard. I
had some nice runs but when tuning up and down to work mults, I had a lot of CQs
repeated in my face. Maybe others just had noise problems. I had rain static on
my end Friday night but not that bad.

Got on a bit at 0430 the second night and balance seemed to be restored -
worked a number of EU, and got through faster to mults. Never did find MT/NV/WA
and AK when I was on. Much less rain static on the second night, though
thunderstorm type QRN seemed to be on the rise.
