Comments:

1145z Saturday morning settled in with a nice up of coffee in front of the rigs.
Checked the latest propagation report and discovered a K of 4. Oh, no, not for
radiosport. Well, the bands sure sounded like a K of 4 until mid-afternoon
Saturday. Just as things improved, a thunderstorm loaded with lightning
appeared. Tried to ignore it, but when a bolt hit nearby, I did the right thing
and QRTed for an hour. Just turned the rig back on and about to proceed when
another nearby strike hit. So I had to take another 30 minutes off. But the
rain and storm did clean up the atmosphere here and 80 and 160 were much better
than expected during mid-summer. I never could recover from the slower start
this year compared to last year.

This is one of my favorite contests. Good amount of time (24 hours) and lots
and lots of mults. Thanks to all for the Qs.
