Comments:
This is the best summer contest. Even with poor conditions, with the activity
and the great rules -- band/multipliers -- it really keeps you in the chair.
My first foray into mixed model. It helped keep me going to go to SSB,
especially with conditions limiting the tier of stations you could work.
QRN from storms was pretty horrible, and 80 meters really suffered. 160 didn't
seem that bad, for some reason. 10 meters was non-existent. Didn't even work
my own zone there. But there were no station shutdowns this year -- even
though the wind really spiked at one point and it was ominous, the moment
passed.
Too bad things weren't as good as they were earlier in the week on the bands.
Oh, well.
Hope everyone is having a great summer. Good to see all the familiar calls
on.
