Comments:

As has been mentioned by others, conditions were worse than last year but
steadily improved over the 24 hours.  It felt to me like I worked more domestic
stations this year than last year, but when I checked, there was no dramatic
difference.  Last year 48% of my QSOs were with US stations and this year 50%
were with US stations.  I did have a much higher score last year though,
indicative of the better conditions.
