Comments:

It was nice to see the activity level so high even though conditions were so
highly variable, with great 20m and low band conditions the first day, an
unexpected 10 meter opening at the first JA sunrise, and then an M-class flare
at 0145z Sunday that really messed up all the bands for the rest of the
contest.

Seeing the advanced ages of so many well known JA contesters makes me wonder
what is going to happen to CW activity from Japan in the near future.  Why is
CW activity by young people so popular in Europe, but seemingly so unpopular in
Japan?
