Comments:

Elecraft K-2 100 at 30W, ground mounted Hustlers, 80M OCF dipole at 6', 12V deep
cycle marine battery. Like Fred NA2U mentioned, it's too hot to be outside here
in Marana so setup a temporary shack in the living room. Nothing heard on 10M
so 15 and 20 were the money bands. Couldn't get more that 10W from the K2 as it
kept shutting down at higher power. 80M was a bust but what can you expect in
the middle of summer with a cloud warmer. Despite CCR's I had a good time and
was amazed how effective the Hustlers are. Worked coast to coast and corner to
corner. Worked good friends up in WWA where I'm from. Good to hear N7RVD, W7WA,
K7WA, K7DSE and the various clubs up there. Next project is to make a permanent
shack in the bedroom and move the Hustler mount so it is not in the middle of
the back yard. Radials will need to be repositioned too.
