Comments:

Was going to miss this due to a work event. However, it ended 45 minutes early,
got home and remembered. So off to the radio, turned it on 15 minutes before,
noise was down and things didn't sound too bad except not hearing any stations
on 15 or 20. Contest started, noise started to increase as I started calling CQ
for a few minutes on 20 while tuning on VFO B, still nothing. Off to 40, same
strategy call CQ one VFO and tune 2nd VFO. 15 minutes and only 3 Q's in the
log. Several attempts at NC6B as QSB allowed no success. Heard W7OM nice
strong signal and was ready to call him but then he realized he was on top of
KW8N so moved. Never heard him again, went back down into the noise.

Decided to give up on 40 and moved to 80, a little better and then off to 160
to finish it off.

Boy the conditions the last few weeks have been terrible. My score show it as
this is my worst score to date. I knew there were other stations out there but
conditions did not favor any contacts tonight. I would find small pile-ups as
stations would come out of the noise for a short period only to disappear into
the noise seconds later never to be heard from again.

Hopefully things will be better next week.
