Station: K3/100 @ 100W to F12 C3 @64', or 80/40 Fan Dipoles at 50' mostly the
E/W version. 160M Inverted L with 8 elevated Radials and 43' Vertical all used
at one point on another to deal with erratic propagation effects.

I have been running "Assisted" and ran without assistance this year.
100% of the time on the air is recorded on MP3 and available to the committee.
The results indicate very different conditions from last year. 10 Meters was
the money band last year with 281 QSOs and 95 country mults. This year,
significant reduction. Overall I had 174 fewer QSOs, 19 less in the zone
category, and a country deficit of 108 fewer. When you compare band over band,
160-15 are very close to being the same numbers as 2014 - the major loss was
that 10 Meters could not come through as it has in past years.

15-Meters led for me this year, with 20 a distant second and 40 Meters third.
10-Meters did manage some activity, so it was better than 80 and 160 combined.
Low band conditions were probably good for many guys, for my simple antennas
they fall short of being money-makers. The skip was so long that few Canadian
points were possible on 40/80 reducing the doldrums after sunrise in Europe.

The weekend in East Texas was another heavy rain and storm deal. About 5
inches of new rain with chilly winds caused numerous little problems. QRM from
poorly adjusted stations was bothersome, none worse than a certain 2X1 from
9-land that was 597K and about 8 kHz wide too. The echos from polar
propagation were rougher on the ears and much of the period was disrupted.
Surprised both evenings to work OH and SM stations while pointed to JA after EU
had been missing for a couple of hours, this on 15 Meters.

73 and Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate.
