Comments:

It’s the guys under the headphones that make multi-op contesting at VE6SV a
success! Each and every member makes a substantial contribution and it is a team
effort.

The team had a rocky start with some 11th hour operator cancellation and it
took us a couple of hours to get into the operating rhythm.

Propagation was strange here. Solar indices were good (except for the low SFI)
and the required low A and K index for us folks at 53 deg. N for us to access
the European QSO bank beyond the first and second tier stations. BUT, it was
not to be. Every band and band opening never really peaked as history dictates
from this QTH and to put it in one word " SOFT for the whole contest.

At our location all bands were un-usually noisy, including some ugly power-line
noise in the SW direction.

The station had no hardware failures and the operating team’s skill level
worked all the hardware to its deliverable limit. Saying that, even if we had
more antenna hardware propagation is the limiting force at our QTH.

One of the best activities of HF contesting is the multi-op environment
" during operator off times we rag chew about the future of HF
contesting. For HF contesting to be sustainable for years to come, is large
participation from all areas of the globe and programs, activities and
recognition needs “fine tuning” to ensure the next generation of HF
contesting.

The VE6SV team thanks everyone for the Qs
