Comments:

This was a major exercise in patience. Low power with a field-day style antenna
in a back yard in the middle of a city is exactly NOT the way to enjoy this
contest. To make matters worse the entire western direction is completely
blocked by a hillside - major points for the Asian and Pacific ops who pulled
my puny signal out of the noise. I was hoping for more Qs and especially zones.
Didn't hear zones 21, 22 and 34 and couldn't get through to z 17, 18, 37 and 39.
CQ counter at the end read 701 with only 33 stations answering my CQs. This is
certainly a record in futility for me. That said, it was a blast. Being able to
work 100+ countries with such minimal setup is unexpected. Next time, though,
I'll go for something a bit different.
