Soapbox : 

Pre-contest did not go as planned with time and calendar management failures
dominating.

Set up a 2-EL 40M Delta loop, finishing the deployment about 1 hour prior to
contest (see time and calendar management failures). Figured it might be a big
win and if not I still had my standard dipole. Well, it didn't load and it
screwed up the dipole, so no 40M first night. Go figure. I tweaked it up the
next day so it would load and the dipole miraculously started working. I had
two antenna options for the remainder of the contest. Both performed about the
same; the Delta loop will need more tweaking if my neighbors don't have me
committed.

Family showed up for a visit/sleep over, somewhat unexpectedly, and that pretty
much killed any remaining serious effort. Family first. Went into DX mode and
had as much fun as I could muster whenever I could sneak away.
