Comments:

There comes a time when you just hang it up. Tonight, the conditions are the
very worst I have ever experienced for CWT, and much else. The K hit 7
earlier and it shows. 80 has some signals, but noisy. 40 is almost non
existent except the west coast mainly, but even that is dead now. It took
everything I had for 35 minutes just to get 30 QSOs.

Maybe the RF gods will push this solar storm elsewhere. At least I worked
TX3X twice this week! 73 to all and may better conditions prevail.

Oh yeah... shout out to my staunch competitor and friend Larry, WB5EIN. He
couldn't participate today because he was in charge of a career expo for local
schools this week, specifically for 8th graders. It was a massive undertaking,
but that is his thing. Larry is a credit to the education system and holds a
Distinguished Apple Educator badge. He is well known and well admired in the
community and it is well earned. Enough of the fluff... at least I beat him
today! He was QRT!

73,

Joe
