Comments:

The ww ssb was the second run with new Icom, added to 3 x Steppir(10 m, 17 m, 32
m) and OMpower.

Conditions from this side looked con-traverse. While at moments a very nice
signal levels were observed from various continents, some multipliers were
unreachable. Several times, only waiting for a very optimal moment and
returning several times helped to finally made a contact. Saturday evening
offered only a few new mults, Sunday was better in this respect. Heard and not
worked, or spot noted and not heard was not so seldom. The JA direction was
worse in Sunday, and the conditions to NA peaked an hour or two later than in
Saturday.

In terms of QSO number, the Saturday was below, and the 2nd day at the end was
over my initial expectations. Final QSO number is 2.761, 1560 1st day, total
1408 NA, 213 JA, 805 EU. Zone 36 was not noted anywhere.

Similar as Drago, S59A mentioned, the QRM was mostly without compromise. It was
possible to hear and visually see on a pan adapter that e.g. 400 Hz from one
side, or nearly 1 kHz from the other side of 2.4 kHz passband from time to time
became occupied by neighboring signals. Starting on a clear spot and kindly
asking the intruders to move slightly was useless. Conditions of this kind?
Varying propagations? Simply too many stations for the band? Thanks to those
rare exceptions.

It was not a very smooth ride, anyway it was nice to participate.

73s de Marko, S50K
