Comments:

We apologize to the stations calling us that we struggled to hear and in some
cases we could not hear at all the first 14 hours of the contest. We had a 40
over s9 noise level towards Europe on the low bands on the transmit antennas.
We had to use the US beverage for all the low bands. We had only 7 Q's the
first night on 160M. Magically the noise went away about 15Z. We just couldn't
make up for all the lost time. And the noise came back about 21Z on Sunday. So,
we had to point the antennas for 10-40M towards the US a good portion of the
weekend to minimize the noise.
