Comments:

On a business trip in Cartersville, GA so operated from hotel parking lot.  Put
up 2 antennas: a Buddistick mounted on the rear door window and a W3EDP in some
trees.  Both worked for different parts of the country. It was good to have both
available.

Should have stayed on 20m a bit longer in hindsight but 40m was hopping!

Thanks for all the Qs and the great ears of so many ops!

Elecraft K1 @ 5 watts to Buddistick or W3EDP with Bulldog key and paper log.
