That was not a weekend to attempt a DX contest on SSB with Low Power and small
low antennas at home! Just a couple of short periods where I could run VERY
slowly - otherwise - only S&P was effective. Spent a lot of the weekend
behind a wall of absorption where I could hear stations well, but they just
CQed in my face. Very frustrating to hear competition as little as 200 km away
consistently crash through pile ups in front of me and get QTCs where the far
end tells me I'm too weak to send QTCs to. Some nice DX worked across the
weekend though. My multiplier total on LF is a real mess - silly stuff missing
- but I just couldn't make myself heard.

Thank you to everyone for the QSOs and especially for the patience with the
QTCs. There's nothing I like better in this contest than a really fast set of
10. 

Congratulations to the leaders - some great competition at the top this weekend
- and especially to ES5TV and SK3W for cracking efforts from way inside the
auroral belt - I may complain - but it must have been really tough up there -
but lots of aluminium and steel helps!
