Comments:

Surprising Es at start of contest on Sat. to FL mostly and some SE W4s. Heard a
few TX contests stations then but couldn't get their attention. Only 5 VE-land
qsos. 
Poor scatter Sunday AM...some "popcorn Es" to W9s, W0s around
noontime though. Mostly CW qsos from 11AM Sunday til quit time 5PM Sunday. Very
poor tropo to SW--only worked 8 W3-land stations all contest (that's the LEAST
I've ever worked in 15 years contesting from FN44). 
Seems 6M local activity in 1/2/3-land and especially in VE1/9/2/3-land drops
every year..hmmm
