Comments:

I've been a ham forever and this was my first experience on 160m! I've tried to
load my 80/40 combo dipole @ 10' on 160m before with no luck. It actually
loaded up on Friday night! Stations faded in and out during the contest. I was
able to to work many stations that were weak and then I couldn't work the loud
ones. I've got much to learn about the top band. I finally worked W9IU after
125 attempts.
So my first contact on 160m goes to my friend Paul Newberry, N4PN... thanks
Paul! My first DX contact on 160m belongs to ZF9CW! 73s Dave WN4AFP
Station: IC-751 75w to 80/40 dipole at 10'.
