Comments:

K3CCR is the club station at the Collington continuing-care
retirement community at FM 18OW in MD, just east of DC. Only
I (N3UM) was available to operate in the ARRL 10 m. I did SOHP
Unlimited CW Only.

SFI of only 75 made the on-air experience mostly like operating
single-band 6 meters in a VHF test; loud locals, weak tropo sigs
out to ~400 miles, and some loud sigs via E skip to ~800-1200
mi. plus double-hop to ~1600-2400 mi.

"Skip" it was, not strong Es loud at 300+ mi. on 10; e.g. 1 OH
QSO and 1 IN, no KY or MI, but 15 IL, 14 MN, and 8 WI QSOs.
In W1, 4 CT and 2 ME Qs, no MA, RI, or NH. In W4, 1 NC, no SC,
2 TN, 1 GA, and 19 FL QSOs. Good skip to TX with 15 Qs and CA
with 11.

At the 00Z start got 45 Qs in the first hour and 12 states,
3 via E skip and 9 via tropo. Rate then slowed, 46 more
Qs in the next 2.3 hrs, but got 5 Es states from AR to AZ.
Sat. started slow at 1330, 29 Qs and 4 states in 1 hr. But,
at 1430Z finally saw F-layer propagation to the South, and
in 3 hr. till 1730Z got 13 countries, 7 SA and 6 NA, 15 new
states, and 83 QSOs. The rest of Sat. I got 85 Qs, KH6 and
6 other states, and FY in 3.8 hr.

Rate was slow on Sun., as Sun. often is, 33 Qs in 2.5 hrs.
after 14Z, BUT 3 exciting DX mults: EA8, ZS, and V5 (Namibia).
After a 4+ hr. break got 19 Qs plus NB, ME, and QC before QRT.

On CW I got 42 US states, 1 XE state, 3 VE provinces, and 18 DX.
I made one SSB QSO when asked by N8II, but entered CW-only.
Claimed score better than I got at N3UM in '07 and '08 near the
last sunspot min., but below '09 when I put in 3.5 hrs. more BIC.
