Comments:

First I repaired part of the hurricane damaged antennas and built two beverages-
This was my 3rd CQ 160 CW contest from Sao Miguel Is, the previous ones were in
2010 and 2011. There was a horrible random noise from the East during the first
night, NA direction was good but propagation did not reach the North Western
corner of NA. The 2nd night was quiet but low activity, my guess is that people
were collecting band-points from VP8SGI.I wish a little more DX activity. There
is always, during the second night, plenty of time for DX search.
I got 700 QSOs less than in 2011.
I think that on this narrow band only one TXbe allowed, no inband SO2R.It is
causing a lot of frustrating surprises when a signal suddenly appears in an
empty slot with out listening first.

160 contests are always a great fun.
