Comments:

I knew I was in trouble when the calendar began filling up even though I had
blocked out the weekend for the contest.  Just before the start, we had a major
birthday party for my wife, a golf tournament (fortunately, it rained so that
was cancelled), and several other conflicts.  So, I decided to take what time I
could rather than push hard.  Good thing considering condx were not good for a
station with low wire antennas and 800 watts.  

10M was really interesting with spotlight openings to much of EU, mainly on Sun
and late in the morning. 160M was disappointing with nothing heard from EU
despite lots of spots from those guys in the Northeast.  15M proved to be the
money band here even with a low delta loop.  Lots of noise on 20M, apparently
local, limited my ability to hear much of the lower tier stns altho I don't
think I was getting many calls anyway.  Still turned out to be fun and my wife
had a great birthday party.  Tnx to all those who perservered to hear my little
signal.
