Comments:

Well, that was fun! I got off to a late start due to another commitment and
jumped in on 20M. MISTAKE. I had it in mind that I'd seen a propagation report
that 15M wouldn't be good. After a couple of hours I decided to take a peek at
15M and saw a P3 with plenty of activity present. By then the band was winding
down, but I did put a few Qs in the log before breaking for dinner. After the
break, I spent the rest of the evening on 40 and 80M. The latter surprised me
yet again with almost 2x the contacts as on 40M. Maybe I waited too long to go
to 40?

I spent time doing both Run and S&P. Most of the latter I did when first
getting on a new band and to gain practice tuning in RTTY...something new to
me. Not so foreign now!

Before NAQP RTTY I noted a new release of N1MM+ and opted not to update until
after the contest. Hopefully the one report about problems from having done
that update is an isolated issue.

A big shout out to my friend Tom, K3AJ, for configuring my N1MM+ for RTTY and
his operating hints. Also a big TU to the several PVRC members who worked me,
and vice versa.

Equipment:
K3 + P3 (indispensible!)
Hex Beam and 80/40M loaded dipole
N1MM+
