Comments:

This turned out to be a fun contest, at least Saturday day time.  I had some
great runs on 15m and 10m. It was a struggle on 80m Sat evening.  Sunday was a
different story, when I fired the rig up, gave the first test on 15m a
"bang" came out of the KPA-500 amp and it stopped putting out power. 
When I checked it out I heard rattling inside and found the pieces of a blown
cap floating around.  I will be contacting Elecraft in the morning, the 3rd
problem I have had with this amp.  I found out that 100 watts does not play
well here.  I could not get anything much going, even S&P was difficult, so
deceided to just go for 500 Q's and call it good, my goal was 800. 

I felt the activity was great and conditions were fine.
