Thanks to Duane, VE7UF for letting me use his superb contest station again.

Since 80m and 40m were hopping during the night I did not even look to see if
there was anything on 160m
Duane replaced an iffy coax on the 80m system and it sure showed. There was a
steady stream of callers from Japan answering my CQ's.
40m was in excellent shape after JA darkness till way past our sunrise here on
the other coast of the Pacific Ocean.
Daytime on 20m was not too hot, signals were quite weak, but around our
midnight signals really came up for an hour or two and many QRP stations were
worked.
Repeated checks to 15m resulted in a handful of JA's but every QSO was a
struggle with the rapid QSB and weak signals.
Nothing heard on 10m, not even the usual California/Arizona stations CQ-ing.

All in all, I think conditions were as expected, and I'm sure happy that 80m
and 40m cooperated, otherwise it would've been pretty slow going. Still, I quit
3 hours early due to fatigue/boredom.

22 Asian DXCC were worked, 93.4% Japanese stations, with UA9, BY and HL giving
more than 10 contacts. Once the QSLs start rolling in we'll see if I've got
enough new JA's for my JCC-500. It was nice to catch some the Eastern Asian
countries, they're quite rare from here in Zone 3.

Thanks to all who heard me, and I sure hope I'll be pounding the brass way past
80 like some of those JA OM's.
