Comments:

FT1000MP, 100W, TH6DXX, dipole, zepp, tee vertical. Wasn't ready with N1MM Plus
at the start so send (often poorly) with a paddle and logged on paper. 15M was
much better than last week, but all QSOs were W6/7 and no QSOs with the weak
east coast stations I could barely hear. 20M was fairly good, but again mostly
west, with N8EA and W4OC from the east. 40M was almost all over, but station
from OH and east were weaker than usual. I heard K8CN twice, but he was too
weak to copy info from. I should have had my zepp tuned for 40 and it would
have helped to the east. It was tuned for 80 in advance, so I could quickly
change bands. 80M was OK for the eastern part of the country and out to LA and
SD, but heard only K0RF and AA7V from farther west. 160M was almost a complete
waste of the last three minutes as only K8MR (Labron) could hear me there. QRN
was quite high on 160 and only bothersome on 80 and 40. Will miss next Thursday
night, so see you all in two weeks and also in FD this weekend from W4CVY, the
Columbus (GA) Amateur Radio Club. 73, John, K4BAI.
