Station: K3/100 @100W F-12 C3 @64', 80/40 Fan Dipole EW @50', Inverted L for 160
with 8 shortened elevated radials. No RX antennas used. WriteLog Ver 11.28J
used. No assistance.

Radio Conditions: Really pretty good! 10 was better on Saturday.
Operator Conditions: Ear Infection and stomach virus*. Lot's of time down and
not able to operate. *Might have been food poisoning.

Third ARRL DX Phone from the new location, second best performance for me here.
2014 conditions were better, and the operator was "well".

Even with steps taken to minimize the effects of overloading and splatter there
were still some EU and SA stations that did not conform to the rules for the
control of distortion products ... splatter was king this weekend.

Moderate amount of jamming even on 20 Meters, the normal complainers on 80/40
just did their usual misbehavior. There was one case of illegal operation when
persons, unknown, listened to NP2X on 28.406 MHz and retransmitted the NP2X side
on 21.258 MHz creating a pile up of folks hearing NP2X work people, and then I
discovered I could not hear any of this callers on 15M getting through!
Consulted with Ira, K2RD who could not hear the callers he was answering
either. I was able to hear a "carrier" with room noises on the 15
Meter "clone" frequency on 21.258 MHz, and yes for a while I called
them there too. This was noticeable from 03051900 to 03051906. I have a
digital recording snippet that I will forward to NP2X if they want to see it.
I spoke to the 10-Meter operator at NP2X at 1911Z and he related that they were
not on 15 Meters at that time.

I suggest that this kind of tomfoolery has no place in our hobby, and if anyone
knows who did it they should provide FCC enforcement with the information. I
will send a copy of the audio to ARRL Contest Branch.
