Comments:

This is probably my least favorite contest format. A lot of splatter and very
wide signals make for very difficult operating conditions.

The highlight of the weekend was an unexpected opening on 10 meters Sunday
afternoon to Europe - the band just magically burst open with huge signals
coming into Minnesota. I worked an Italian QRP station of 5 watts who was
S9+20. I saw a number of S9+50 signals - amazing!

15 meters was very strong every time I checked it. I worked an unusually large
number of YB stations on 40 meters Sunday morning - only 2 JAs and 1 VK.

Just enough operating time to remind me I don't care much for the ARRL DX SSB
contest.
